March 4th is “Game Master's Day,”, a day to reflect on how important that person behind the screen is to all us players. It is important to remember the amount of work these folks put into preparing adventures for us to play.

As a part of this celebration, dozens of publishers on DriveThruRPG are offering hundreds upon ...hundreds of products for sale at 25% off. Here's a link:

But if you don't do anything else, please give some props to your favorite GM :)

Trying to finish writing part IV of the Fellowship of the White Star module "The Tundra" for Gen Con (yes 8 months before it is due, that way I avoid the pressure). It is almost done and we should have the playtest this month.

New FWS modules [Mar. 26th, 2009|11:04 pm]

[mood |sleepysleepy]

I just posted the latest two FWS modules to the website store.

We have A113 "Intrigue at Battle Creek". This was a module that was playtested for the 1905 campaign and the playtest group had a lot of feedback. We finally got back to it and replaytested it last month. Since it was event time specific, we decided to release one last 1905 module.

Next is B201 "Le Paradis Perdu". This is our first 1906 module and premiered last week at Conn Con. It is also the first module by a new author to the campaign, Brian Martin. Some of you probably know Brian from the table as a great player and he is just as good of an author. His next module "Give Me Liberty and Give Me Death" will be out very soon as well.

You can catch both at Origins or Gen Con (Intrigue during wild card slots) or at a home game near you.

Sorry for the cross post for those on multiple lists.

/cheers!

1905 Campaign year update [Jan. 11th, 2009|04:16 pm]

sasseyfrass
[Current Location |Home]
[mood |excitedexcited]

During the first year of the Fellowship of the White Star campaign, the campaign staff had a tons of fun and we hope you did too!

It turns out we had 23 modules.  12 A's, 8 B's, 2 Intros and 1 D.  The last two modules for 1905 are A112 Turf War and B107 Silent Night.  They should be available soon.

We just posted the newest 1905 module to the website, Lady in Red, an adventure that features the heroes meeting Mata Hari in Paris, France.

I should note that you can play the 1905 events in 1906 (2009).  The only catch is that if you play some 1906 modules first, they may contain some spoilers for 1905 modules.

We have three modules already for 1906 and will be playtesting and releasing them soon.

We will be checking through the critical event forms soon and will make some decisions on which Hero actions affect various plot lines.  If you haven't turned some in, please do so asap so we can include your heroes work into the summary.

Lastly, the monster book is almost done.  Some final layout and then printing.  When we have it ready to go to the printer, I'll put a notice up so folks can order it.

We want to send out a special thanks to all the players for making the campaign a success!

/cheers!

Fellowship Fiction in Progress [Aug. 25th, 2008|12:31 am]

thenodrin
I'm writing some fiction based on the people who made the Fellowship of the White Star, and what happened before the Fall of the Shepherds that developed them into the people they are in the main book. A prelude if you will.

The first part can be found here.
The second part can be found here.
